NY Troubadours Nick and Sam with Alexis Ebers on the High Holy Days, leading services with Charlie Rosenthal for the Childrens Jewish Education Group in Hawthorne, NY. The prayer is part of evening services and the bedtime Sh'ma. It means "Cause us to lie down in peace, our God, and then [in the morning] raise us up again to life. And spread over us the shelter of Your peace." The melody is by Craig Taubman, and the arrangement is by Stephen Lawrence. Alexis has been singing with Sam and Nick since all were together at Stamford CT's Temple Sinai in 2003, and her dad, Jeff Ebers, is the pianist.
